This policy explains how IA COMPA LLC handles information in the Textiac app (iOS, Android). It applies to Textiac specifically; our website has its own privacy policy.
What Textiac handles
- No account, name, email, or phone number
- In a properly configured native release, message content is end-to-end encrypted and the relay stores opaque, time-limited blobs
- The relay and its host can observe IP addresses, timing, blob sizes, and connection patterns; Apple or Google can observe push-token and wake-timing metadata
Where your data lives
Conversation history and keys stay in the app sandbox on your device. The relay stores opaque, time-limited encrypted blobs keyed by random queue capabilities, not user profiles. Textiac v1 does not provide network-level unlinkability: the relay and host can observe connection metadata even though they cannot read properly encrypted message content.
Service providers
- Relay hosting provider — delivers opaque message blobs and can observe IP addresses, timing, sizes, and connection patterns.
- Apple or Google push services — wake the recipient app and can observe push-token and wake-timing metadata.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your choices
You can remove data stored locally by deleting the app. If an app offers iCloud sync, you can also remove its synced data from your iCloud account. For any request or question, email apps@iacompa.com.
Children
Textiacis intended for a general audience and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
