This SMS Privacy Policy supplements the IA Compa Privacy Policy and applies to the IA Compa SMS program operated by IA COMPA LLC (“IA Compa,” “we,” “us”). If this policy and our general Privacy Policy address the same SMS data differently, this policy controls for the SMS program.
Information covered by this policy
We may collect and maintain:
- your mobile phone number and the name or contact record associated with it;
- consent records, including when and how you opted in, the disclosure presented to you, and the source of your consent;
- messages you send to or receive from us, including scheduling requests, support questions, and opt-out or help requests; and
- delivery and messaging metadata, such as timestamps, delivery status, carrier information, and whether you replied STOP or another opt-out keyword.
How we use SMS information
We use this information only to:
- send follow-up you requested;
- send scheduling or calendar links and appointment confirmations or reminders;
- provide service, project, or support progress updates;
- respond to your messages and honor your communication preferences;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and document the SMS program; and
- comply with law and carrier requirements.
The current program is for informational and customer-care messages. We do not use consent to this program as permission for unrelated promotional or marketing texts.
Mobile information is not shared for marketing
IA Compa does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide limited SMS information to vendors acting for us—such as Twilio, telecommunications carriers, hosting providers, and customer-support systems—only as needed to deliver, secure, support, or document the program. These providers may not use that information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.
Program disclosures
- Message frequency varies based on your requests, appointments, and service activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
- Reply HELP for help.
Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from contacting us by email and does not affect services you have already requested.
Consent records and retention
We keep SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, document permission, honor suppression requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal or carrier obligations. We may retain a minimal suppression record after an opt-out so that we do not text that number again without a valid new opt-in.
Your choices
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You may also use other standard opt-out words supported by our messaging provider, such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message and then stop messages covered by that consent. To receive texts again, you must provide a new valid opt-in.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete SMS information by emailing services@iacompa.com. Some records may be retained when required to document consent, enforce an opt-out, or comply with law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to people and providers that need the information for the purposes above. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The SMS program is intended for adults and business contacts. We do not knowingly enroll children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the program or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes to messaging purposes require any additional consent required by law.
