This policy explains how IA COMPA LLC handles information in the Bituabit app (iOS, watchOS). It applies to Bituabit specifically; our website has its own privacy policy.
What Bituabit handles
- Habits, check-ins, streaks, and reminders you create
- The specific Apple Health or Oura metrics required by biometric goals you enable, including provider, evidence time, coverage, and freshness
- Goal text and habit context you choose to share with the optional AI coach, your display name, and an anonymous account identifier; raw biometric readings are excluded from model training
Where your data lives
Raw heart-rate samples and biometric observations are stored in a local-only database excluded from CloudKit. If Bituabit sync is enabled, habit and completion projections may sync through your private iCloud database without raw BPM, SpO2, stress, or cardiovascular readings. For Oura, Neon stores only a hashed installation credential, encrypted OAuth tokens, granted scopes, sync cursors, webhook markers, and deletion status; raw high-frequency health data is not retained there in v1. Disconnect requests revocation and deletion. If the provider or network cannot confirm it, Bituabit shows deletion as pending and retries instead of claiming completion.
Service providers
- Google Gemini — generates coach plans from the data you submit, routed through our own AI gateway.
- Apple Health — provides only the health categories you authorize for goals you choose (provider information).
- Oura — provides the Oura categories you progressively authorize for connected goals (provider information).
- Neon and Vercel — store and process encrypted Oura connection metadata in Bituabit's separate integration gateway; v1 does not retain raw high-frequency heart-rate data.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your choices
You can remove data stored locally by deleting the app. If an app offers iCloud sync, you can also remove its synced data from your iCloud account. For any request or question, email bituabit@iacompa.com.
Children
Bituabitis intended for a general audience and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above when we do.
