This policy explains how IA COMPA LLC handles information in the Sicnote app (iOS). It applies to Sicnote specifically; our website has its own privacy policy.
What Sicnote handles
- Songs, sections, lyrics, BPM, key, themes, and other project details you create
- Line-level audio takes you record
- Words or suffixes you query in the rhyme and synonym tools and, in some editor flows, up to five theme keywords
Where your data lives
Songs and lyrics are stored in SwiftData on your device, while line recordings are audio files in the app's Documents folder. Sicnote does not currently use iCloud or CloudKit. On supported devices, the optional AI co-writer runs on-device. Datamuse requests may include a queried word or suffix and a small set of theme keywords, but not your full lyrics.
Service providers
- Datamuse — provides rhyme or synonym results from a queried word or suffix and, in some flows, up to five theme keywords (provider information).
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your choices
You can remove data stored locally by deleting the app. If an app offers iCloud sync, you can also remove its synced data from your iCloud account. For any request or question, email apps@iacompa.com.

Sicnoteis intended for a general audience and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
