Where are my songs and recordings stored?

Songs and lyrics are stored in SwiftData on your device. Line recordings are stored as audio files in the app's Documents folder. Sicnote does not currently use iCloud or CloudKit.

Can I export or restore a song?

Sicnote supports exporting songs through Markdown and ZIP files. Keep your exported files somewhere safe if you want an off-device backup or need to restore your work later.

Which devices support the AI co-writer?

The optional co-writer uses Apple Foundation Models on supported iOS 26 devices with Apple Intelligence. It is unavailable on unsupported devices.

What does Datamuse receive?

A rhyme or synonym request can include the word or suffix you queried and, in some editor flows, up to five theme keywords. Sicnote does not send your full lyrics to Datamuse.

What happens when I delete a song?

Accepted Answer

Deleting a song removes its local songwriting data and its associated line recordings from the device. Export anything you want to keep first.
