Does Vibiac send my code anywhere?

Not to us. Vibiac runs locally and has no backend. Code only leaves your machine when a coding agent you run calls its own model provider — that traffic goes directly from the CLI to that provider, never through Vibiac.

Does Vibiac collect analytics or telemetry?

Accepted Answer

No. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. Vibiac itself makes no network requests; the only network traffic is whatever the agent CLIs you run send to their own providers.

Where are my API keys stored?

Vibiac doesn't store them. Your agent CLIs keep their own credentials on your device, exactly as they do outside Vibiac, and nothing is ever transmitted to us.

Which platforms are supported?

macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10/11. Downloads are published on GitHub Releases. Vibiac builds are not signed or notarized by Apple (see the next question), and there is no auto-updater yet — install a newer release to update.

Why does macOS or Windows warn me when I open Vibiac?

Vibiac builds are not signed or notarized by Apple, and the Windows installer is not code-signed either. We recommend viewing the source on GitHub and downloading Vibiac straight from its GitHub Releases page. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open (or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway). On Windows, choose More info → Run anyway in SmartScreen.
