These Terms govern your use of the Sonedia app (iOS, iPadOS, watchOS), published by IA COMPA LLC. By accessing, downloading, or using Sonedia, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Sonedia.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sonedia on devices you own or control, for your own use, subject to these Terms and any applicable distributor’s terms.
Your content is yours
The content you create in Sonedia — such as your notes, habits, recordings, or messages — belongs to you. We don’t claim ownership of it. You’re responsible for the content you create and for having the right to use it.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Sonedia for anything unlawful or harmful.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload, or misuse the app or any related service.
- Don’t infringe others’ rights or use the app to harm others.
AI-assisted features
Where Sonedia includes AI-assisted features, their output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for your convenience, not as professional advice. Use judgment before relying on it.
Recordings, transcripts, and AI output
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record, transcribe, upload, or share other people. Transcripts, smart-title suggestions, summaries, and other AI-assisted output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed before use.
Sonedia preserves a local canonical source and can detect certain local changes, but it does not provide forensic certification, guarantee authenticity against every form of tampering, or promise that a recording will be admissible in court or accepted by any authority.
Shared Albums and moderation
You must have the rights and permissions needed for content you contribute to a Shared Album. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, or privacy-violating content. Album owners and IA Compa may restrict access, remove content, revoke invitations, or take other reasonable moderation action to protect users and the service.
Reports include the selected reason and operational metadata; Sonedia does not automatically attach reported audio. We may review report metadata and take action, but we do not promise that every report will produce a specific outcome.
Subscription expiration
If a subscription expires, paid creation and processing privileges end. Existing paid-created content is not automatically deleted or made unrecoverable: you retain playback, export, and owner-cleanup access, subject to the availability of the app and third-party services.
Payments
Core recording and playback, every recording-quality preset, searchable transcripts, audio export, proof receipts, ordinary iCloud library sync, and Apple Watch transfer are free. A proof receipt computes SHA-256 on-device; completion and verification use an iCloud server timestamp and require connectivity, while offline requests remain pending until reconnection. Basic Pro ($4.99/month) unlocks all Pro studio tools and 60 AI audio minutes per month. Premium Pro Monthly ($9.99/month) and Premium Pro Yearly ($59.99/year) unlock the same tools and 220 AI audio minutes per monthly quota period. Minutes do not roll over. An eligible introductory trial includes 10 total AI audio minutes. Purchases are billed through Apple's App Store and can be managed or canceled in Apple ID settings.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app store, and refunds follow that store’s policy. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings.
App stores & third parties
Sonedia is not publicly available through an app store yet. If it is distributed through an app store or another provider later, that provider's terms will also apply. We’re not responsible for third-party services the app may rely on.
Disclaimer of warranties
Sonedia is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IA COMPA LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of Sonedia. Any aggregate liability we do have is limited to the amount you paid for Sonedia through the applicable app store in the six months before the claim. If you paid nothing during that period, that amount is US $0. This limit does not apply where applicable law does not permit it.
Termination & changes
You can stop using Sonedia at any time by deleting it. We may update Sonedia or these Terms; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept the update.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
