These Terms govern your use of the Watower app (macOS), published by IA COMPA LLC. By accessing, downloading, or using Watower, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Watower.
Your license
Watower 1.2 is free software. IA COMPA LLC licenses its first-party code, documentation and assets under the GNU General Public License, version 3 only (GPL-3.0-only). You may redistribute and modify that material under the license. The matching source archive includes the complete license and notices. The general acceptance, eligibility, use and term-change clauses on this page do not limit your rights under the GNU GPL. You do not need to accept additional website terms to exercise those GPL rights. Third-party material retains its own terms.
Your content is yours
The content you create in Watower belongs to you. We don’t claim ownership of it. You’re responsible for the content you create and for having the right to use it.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Watower for anything unlawful or harmful.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload, or misuse the app or any related service.
- Don’t infringe others’ rights or use the app to harm others.
AI-assisted features
Where Watower includes AI-assisted features, their output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for your convenience, not as professional advice. Use judgment before relying on it.
Platforms and cleanup
Watower 1.2 supports Apple silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later. It is signed with IA COMPA LLC’s Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Windows is not part of this download.
Scan sizes and safety classifications describe the state at the time of the check. Review the listed local files, preserve your work and keep backups before confirming a Trash move. Watower does not empty the Trash for you.
Earlier Watower 1.1 copies
IA COMPA LLC provides an additional GPL-3.0-only grant for its first-party material in Watower 1.1. Existing copies retain their original MIT notices and permissions. The additional grant does not withdraw those permissions. Original tags, archives, signatures and checksums remain unchanged. A separate source supplement provides matching dependency sources, notices, rebuild information and the additional grant. The Watower app page links the grant and source downloads.

App stores & third parties
Watower is not currently listed on this site with an app-store download. If you obtain it through an app store or another provider, that provider's terms also apply. We’re not responsible for third-party services the app may rely on.
Disclaimer of warranties
Watower is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IA COMPA LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of Watower. Any liability we do have is limited to the amount you paid us to use Watower in the six months before the claim — which is US $0 for a free app.
Termination & changes
You can stop using Watower at any time by deleting it. We may update Watower or these Terms; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept the update.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
