What changed with Suno v5.5
On March 26, 2026, Suno released v5.5, which it called its most expressive model so far, together with three personalization features. Voices, available to Pro and Premier subscribers, lets you capture or upload your singing voice and make songs with it. Suno verifies ownership by matching the singing to a random phrase you are asked to speak, and your Voices stay private to you.
Custom Models let Pro and Premier subscribers upload tracks from their original catalog to tune up to three personalized versions of v5.5 to their style. My Taste, open to all users, learns the genres and moods you return to. Suno framed these as groundwork for the music models it planned to launch with the music industry later in the year, which arrived as v6 in September.
