Cursor 3.0 adds an Agents Window for running many coding agents in parallel

Cursor 3.0 at a glance

Cursor 3.0 introduces a new interface for running agents across local, worktree, cloud, and remote SSH environments, plus a /best-of-n command that compares several models on one task.

What changed with Cursor 3.0

Cursor 3.0's Agents Window is built for running several agents at once across repositories and environments. Users can switch back to the classic editor or keep both open.

The /best-of-n command runs the same task with multiple models in separate worktrees so results can be compared, and a new /worktree command isolates changes. Design Mode lets you select UI elements in the browser and send them to the agent, and a new Await tool lets agents wait on background jobs or subagents.

Why Cursor 3.0 matters for businesses

The release shows coding tools moving from autocomplete toward supervising parallel agents. Small development teams can split work across agents, but reviewing and merging that output still needs a person.
