On November 5, 2026, Cursor let its cloud agents build and host live apps. You ask a cloud agent to build an app, and it scaffolds the web app, creates a Postgres database if needed, sets up authentication behind Cursor SSO, and provisions hosting. If the app needs your systems, such as a data warehouse, the agent asks for the secrets. Apps deploy from new or existing repositories on Cursor Origin or GitHub; GitLab is listed as coming soon.
Before anything goes live, deterministic and agent-based checks look for problems such as secrets in app files or exposed credentials, and the user must publish explicitly. Apps can be shared with people, groups, or the whole team behind Cursor sign-in, and individual plans can also share publicly. Team admins can see every app and secret, add their own review rules, approve blocked publishes, and unpublish any app. Cursor did not announce separate pricing or limits.
