What changed with Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash
Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generates and edits video from text, images, video and audio references. Clips can run from 3 to 15 seconds, up from 10 in Omni 1.1. Drafts render at 360p or 720p and can be upscaled to 1080p or 4K, and multi-turn editing lets you revise a clip by conversation.
It is the first generally available Omni model, offered through the Gemini API and Google Cloud with Provisioned Throughput, and in AI Studio, Flow, Google Vids, Google Ads and the Gemini app. Omni Flash first reached developers as a preview on June 30, 2026 at $0.10 per second; 1.2 lowers that to $0.07 per second at 720p.
