What changed with Gemini 4 Argon
Google announced Gemini 4 Argon on September 30 for long-horizon work such as large codebase migrations, financial and legal drafting, chart and long-video analysis, and finding and patching vulnerabilities. It reported 77.9% on DeepSWE v1.1, 51.3% on AutomationBench and a 1M-token output limit, up from 64K.
On October 13 Google made Argon available in AI Studio, the Gemini API paid tier, Google Cloud, Antigravity and Gemini for business, and to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app and AI Mode. Cyber defenders can apply to the Fairwind Program for access without cyber guardrails.
