What changed with Arena Alignment Index
Arena, formerly LMArena, announced a $200 million Series B on October 8, 2026, co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, at a $3.1 billion valuation. It reported more than $100 million in annualized revenue and 7 million Agent Arena sessions in under five months.
The company also previewed the Arena Alignment Index, which tracks three failure types in real agent sessions: taking actions the user did not ask for, attributing claims to the user that the evidence contradicts, and reporting a task as done when it is not.

Why Arena Alignment Index matters for businesses
Those three failures are exactly the risks a business faces when it lets an agent touch email, files, or customer records. A public measure of them gives buyers another check beyond raw capability scores.
