The X Subscription at a glance
The X Subscription offers Free, Plus ($8), Premium ($30), Super ($100), and Ultra ($200) monthly plans with one usage pool for Grok models shared across Grok and Cursor; existing subscribers can switch or keep their plans.
What changed with The X Subscription
On October 12, 2026, xAI introduced The X Subscription, one plan that covers Grok, Grok Bot, the Cursor coding tools, and X Premium benefits. It opened to new customers that day, with global availability rolling out over the following days. Paid plans draw from one pool of Grok model usage shared across the Grok apps, the Grok tab on X, and Cursor.
The tiers are Free, Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100, and Ultra at $200, with included usage of 4, 15, and 50 times the Plus allowance on the top three. xAI says Premium includes the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, which previously cost $90 a month combined. Third-party models in Cursor remain available from Premium up but are billed at API list prices through top-ups. xAI's docs say Grok Bot is included on Premium, Super, and Ultra, not Plus.
Why The X Subscription matters for businesses
Teams get the same per-seat prices plus SSO, admin controls, and consolidated billing. For agencies paying separately for Cursor, Grok, and X seats, consolidating could cut costs, but switching is permanent, so check which tools each person needs and how much non-Grok model usage you rely on in Cursor first.

Pricing (Updated)
On November 1, 2026, Elon Musk said serving Grok Bot had been unsustainably costly relative to revenue, after users reported weekly allowances running out early.
