HighLevel workflow agents gain web search and reusable skills, plus Veo 3.1 video generation and Gemini video analysis

On October 29, 2026, HighLevel published a set of AI updates for workflows. The AI Agent Action gained a Built-in tools section whose first tool is Web search: the agent searches only when a task needs facts it lacks, and you can also paste trusted page URLs into its instructions. HighLevel bills web search per search on top of the action, at 1 cent with OpenAI and Claude models and 1.4 cents with Gemini models.

The same action now supports Skills, reusable procedures the agent loads only when a run matches the skill's trigger line. You can write a skill, have the AI Assistant draft one, or attach one from a library, and every account starts with four built-in skills: Humanizer, Write-well, Cold-email, and Sms-writer. Several skills can load together in one run.

Two new premium workflow actions arrived the same day. AI Video Generation uses Google's Veo 3.1 Quality or Fast to make 4, 6, or 8 second clips in 720p or 1080p, with optional reference images and audio, and stores each video at a public URL. AI Analyze Video sends a public video link, including YouTube, to Gemini 3.8 Flash or Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite with a prompt and returns text. Both are billed per run based on settings, without a fixed rate in the announcement.

In Labs, AI Builder can now run a real test of a workflow it just built from the chat and summarize which steps ran, were skipped, or failed. HighLevel warns that the test performs real actions, including sending messages, so you should test with your own contact.
