From 1.6, Dawnamite downloads and installs its own updates, so there is no second copy to clean up. Fit in the note editor now zooms to the notes the clip actually plays.

Added

  • When a newer version is out, Download now fetches it inside Dawnamite, checks that it is signed by IA Compa and notarized by Apple, and replaces the installed app when you choose Restart Now or the next time you quit. The old copy goes to the Trash. Updating from 1.5 to 1.6 still needs one download from the website. Guide →

Fixed

  • After you shorten a MIDI clip by dragging its end, Fit zooms to the notes the clip still plays instead of every note ever recorded in it. The notes past the end are kept, so dragging the end back out brings them back. Guide →
  • The note editor scrolls only a little past the end of a clip that plays once, so notes hidden past a shortened clip's end stay out of view. Guide →
