Version 20261021.83

Dawnamite 1.1.0 makes MIDI Keyboard chords and patterns sound the moment you press a key, smooths changes from one chord key to the next, gives the header's zoom and view buttons the same outlined bar as the transport, and turns TAP into a square button.

Version 1.1.0: instant MIDI Keyboard chords and a tidier header

Changed

  • The zoom controls and the view buttons sit in outlined bars the same height as the transport bar. Guide →
  • The Step Sequencer button is gone from the header. Add a Step Sequencer track to program drum patterns. Guide →
  • The TAP button beside the tempo is a small square with TAP written across it. Guide →

Fixed

  • MIDI Keyboard chords and patterns sound as soon as you press a key, instead of up to about half a second later. Guide →
  • Moving from one chord key to another, or letting go of the newer key, changes the chord at once without dropped or doubled notes. Guide →
  • Live notes from the MIDI Keyboard reach the audio engine together instead of one at a time. Guide →
  • Editing pads in the Step Sequencer no longer stops the studio with a "device.target" error. Guide →
