AWS Summit New York 2026: Continuum, Context, no-code Quick agents and Kiro on iPhone

AWS Continuum at a glance

AWS announced Continuum for continuous code-vulnerability management, Context for giving agents a knowledge graph of company data, background agents in Amazon Quick, Kiro for iOS, release testing in DevOps Agent, and a generally available AgentCore harness.

What changed with AWS Continuum

On June 17, 2026, at AWS Summit New York, AWS introduced two new services. AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities continuously finds, validates, prioritizes and helps fix security issues across the stack within guardrails the customer sets, and is designed to work with multiple models. AWS Context automatically builds a knowledge graph from a company's databases, documents and messages so every agent can find the right source, with built-in access controls and metadata stored in Iceberg format in S3 Tables.

Amazon Quick gained autonomous agents that anyone can create without code to work in the background, such as a sales agent that watches the CRM, email and Slack and drafts follow-ups, plus an activity feed and 16 new built-in integrations. Kiro arrived as a native iOS app backed by always-on cloud sessions. AWS DevOps Agent added release management and change-specific release testing, AWS Transform added always-on continuous modernization, and AgentCore gained a generally available harness that builds an agent from a declared model, tools and instructions, plus Bedrock Guardrails checks in its policy layer.

Why AWS Continuum matters for businesses

For agencies, the common thread is agents that run continuously in the background rather than on request. Context and the AgentCore harness lower the effort of building data-aware agents on AWS, while no-code Quick agents may let some clients build simple automations themselves.
