Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform at a glance
At Cloud Next '26, Google introduced Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for building and governing agents, a no-code Agent Designer in the Gemini Enterprise app, and eighth-generation TPUs.
What changed with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
On April 22, 2026, at Cloud Next '26, Google introduced Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform as a workspace to build, govern and scale agents. It offers models including Gemini 3.1 Pro, Nano Banana 2, Lyria 3 and Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.7, plus Agent Studio, a low-code builder.
The Gemini Enterprise app added a no-code Agent Designer for trigger-based workflows, background agents that run in cloud sandboxes, and an Agent Inbox for oversight. Google also announced TPU 8t for training and TPU 8i for inference, and new security agents built with Wiz.
Why Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform matters for businesses
For agencies selling to companies on Google Cloud, this is a governed, multi-model place to deploy client agents, and the inclusion of Claude means model choice does not force a platform switch.
