Version 1.3.0: project recovery, precise edits and drag-to-Applications install
Added
- Open the macOS disk image, drag Dawnamite to Applications, wait for the copy, then eject the disk image and open the installed app. Guide →
- File → Save Copy saves a separate copy while keeping your current project open. Revert to Last Save and Close Project respect unsaved changes and cancellation. Guide →
- Settings → Plug-ins → Installed Plug-ins → Scan for Plug-ins shows installed locations, scan status and compatibility-check results. Install downloaded vendor packages before scanning. Guide →
Fixed
- An older save finishing late no longer clears a newer recovery copy or treats your later edits as saved. Guide →
- Gain and fade gestures at a join target the region under the pointer instead of its neighbour's nearby handle. Guide →
- Fold refreshes the visible pitch rows when you change clips or edit notes, including used pitches outside the selected scale. Guide →
- Long MPE curves with many expression points draw the visible part without reducing or changing the saved expression data. Guide →
- The audio Clip editor removes inactive Warp and Transients lanes. Changing Warp / Pitch mode, Undo or Redo restores the lanes that the mode uses. Guide →
- Undo restores a deleted live plug-in instrument and its saved state before reconnecting it to audio, without triggering the restored-instrument project-change error. Guide →
- When an audio output cannot reopen, later edits no longer trap the studio in a retry loop. A successful Restart Engine clears the earlier project-change error; a new failure remains visible. Guide →
- With Stop playback on audio overload enabled, sustained playback dropouts now warn while MIDI-only recording continues; audio or mixed recording still stops. Guide →
- Muting a pattern row keeps each step's Chance value through reopening, saving, duplication and Undo. Unmuting restores the stored probability. Guide →
- Retriggering an active MIDI pitch ends the earlier recorded note at the new press. Capture MIDI retains overlapping same-pitch presses, including separate controllers and MIDI channels. Guide →
- Shortcut imports reject unsupported keys and conflicting assignments. A failed shortcut save leaves the active keys unchanged and shows an error. Guide →
- The spectrum and spectrogram use a calibrated averaged-channel amplitude scale. Display tilt is marked separately, and the oscilloscope time span follows the active sample rate. Guide →
- The footer's Overall latency follows the active third-party plug-ins on armed tracks, including bypassed plug-ins whose delay is still compensated. Guide →
