Add it to a track
Select the destination track, open Plugins, and choose Add Effect. Find this device in Library → Effects. Effects process the signal from the devices before them in the chain.
Controls
| Control | What to listen or look for |
|---|---|
| Wet | Sets the level of the processed signal. |
| Dry | Sets the level of the original, unprocessed signal. |
| Pre-Delay | Sets the gap between the original sound and the start of the reverb. |
| Family | Chooses the built-in impulse-response family. |
| Decay | Sets how long the resonant or reverberant sound takes to fade. |
| Size | Changes the apparent size of the resonant space. |
| Damp | Reduces high-frequency energy as the sound decays, making the tail darker. |
| Mod | Adds movement to the effect by varying its internal processing over time. |
| Long Pre-Delay | Sets the gap before the reverb begins, up to five seconds in extended mode. |
| 2 s Pre-Delay | An alternate pre-delay range, 0–2 seconds. The displayed range determines which stored parameter is active. |
Work with this device
Start with a short passage that represents your material. Change one control at a time. Compare at a similar listening level, using the device's power control to bypass it. Save a version of the project before making a large change.
Current behavior
Choose the Pre-Delay range shown by its numeric control; legacy, 2-second and extended 5-second settings are separate stored parameters. Extended generated Decay reaches 10 seconds. Loading or rebuilding a response can take time. The displayed committed impulse remains the active one until replacement succeeds; a preparation failure is not permission to discard the source or project.
