What it does
Generates rhythmic note sequences from chords
Add it to a track
Select a MIDI track and add this device from Library → Devices → MIDI Effects. MIDI effects transform notes before they reach the instrument.
Controls
| Control | What to listen or look for |
|---|---|
| Mode | Chooses whether held notes play upward, downward, or up and down. |
| Octaves | Repeats the arpeggio across this many octaves. |
| Rate | Sets the musical duration of each arpeggiator step. |
| Gate | Sets note length relative to the step duration. |
| Repeat | Repeats each note this many times before moving to the next. |
| Velocity | Sets how strongly note velocity affects the resulting note or sound. |
Work with this device
Start with a short passage that represents your material. Change one control at a time. Compare at a similar listening level, using the device's power control to bypass it. Save a version of the project before making a large change.
