Licenses & acknowledgments

Dawnamite is developed by IA Compa. Its development history includes work based on openDAW, together with other open-source libraries and sound resources. Changes to the interface or product name do not erase the original authors' rights. Product screens and workflow instructions use the Dawnamite name; third-party names remain here and in required notices.

No public Dawnamite installer or software license is offered on this site yet. The development repository records unresolved distribution terms, including differences between upstream README licensing statements and package-level license declarations. This guide does not resolve those terms or grant a proprietary distribution right.

The repository retains Signalsmith Audio notices for applicable processing components. The CTAG-derived compressor has separate GPL notices. Steinberg VST 3 interface headers and CLAP API headers have their own MIT notices in the native helper source. A plug-in format name does not imply endorsement, certification or universal compatibility.

The selected LMMS Community sample pack is recorded as CC0 content. The intact GeneralUser GS bank by S. Christian Collins uses the GeneralUser GS License v2.0; it is not CC0, and its source-material disclosure must be retained. Its current use is a private development trial, with shipping admission unresolved.

A website acknowledgment is supplementary. Required copyright, license and source-availability notices must also remain with the applicable source and distributed materials. No names or license texts are removed from required notices as part of the interface cleanup.
