Select the destination track, open Plugins, and choose Add Effect. Find this device in Library → Devices → Audio Effects. Effects process the signal from the devices before them in the chain.
Controls
| Control | What to listen or look for |
|---|---|
| Low Cut | Removes frequencies below the low-cut frequency. |
| High Cut | Removes frequencies above the high-cut frequency. |
| Predelay | Sets the gap between the original sound and the start of the reverb. |
| ER Shape | Changes the timing pattern of the early reflections. |
| ER Level | Sets the early-reflection level before the room tail. |
| Spin Rate | Sets the speed of early-reflection modulation. |
| Spin | Sets the amount of early-reflection modulation. |
| Size | Changes the apparent size of the resonant space. |
| Decay | Sets how long the resonant or reverberant sound takes to fade. |
| Diffusion | Spreads reflections through this stage for a smoother, denser reverb tail. |
| Density | Sets how closely reflections are packed in the reverberant sound. |
| Scale | Scales the room's internal timing to change its spatial character. |
| Chorus | Sets the speed of modulation in the late reverb tail. |
| Chorus Amt | Sets the amount of modulation in the late reverb tail. |
| Hi Freq | Sets the frequency where high-frequency decay shaping begins. |
| Hi Gain | Boosts or cuts the high-frequency part of the signal. |
| Lo Freq | Sets the frequency where low-frequency decay shaping begins. |
| Lo Gain | Boosts or cuts the low-frequency part of the signal. |
| Freeze | Holds the current effect content so it continues without following new input. |
| Flat | Flattens the frozen tail's decay shaping. |
| Cut | Cuts new input to the reverb while the existing tail continues. |
| Width | Adjusts the difference between the left and right channels to change stereo width. |
| Early | Sets the level of the early reflections in the output. |
| Late | Sets the level of the diffuse late reverb tail. |
| Mix | Blends the original signal with the processed signal; 100% gives only the processed sound. |
| Predelay Sync | Locks the reverb's pre-delay to a musical note division. |
| Predelay Note | Chooses a musical note division for tempo-synchronized timing. |
Work with this device
Start with a short passage that represents your material. Change one control at a time. Compare at a similar listening level, using the device's power control to bypass it. Save a version of the project before making a large change.
