What it does
Manipulates the velocity of incoming notes
Add it to a track
Select a MIDI track and add this device from Library → Devices → MIDI Effects. MIDI effects transform notes before they reach the instrument.
Controls
| Control | What to listen or look for |

| Position | Sets the target velocity toward which notes are attracted. |
| Strength | Sets how strongly velocities are attracted to the target value. |
| Seed | Chooses a repeatable pattern for random velocity changes. |
| Amount | Sets the amount of random variation added to note velocities. |
| Offset | Adds or subtracts a fixed amount from incoming note velocities. |
| Mix | Blends the original and transformed note velocities. |
Work with this device
Start with a short passage that represents your material. Change one control at a time. Compare at a similar listening level, using the device's power control to bypass it. Save a version of the project before making a large change.
