Stereo Imager
Computes a stereo transformation matrix with volume, panning, phase inversion and stereo width.
What it does
Computes a stereo transformation matrix with volume, panning, phase inversion and stereo width.
Add it to a track
Select the destination track, open Plugins, and choose Add Effect. Find this device in Library → Devices → Audio Effects. Effects process the signal from the devices before them in the chain.
Controls
| Control | What to listen or look for |

| Volume | Sets the signal level leaving this stage. |
| Panning | Moves the signal balance between the left and right channels. |
| Stereo | Adjusts the difference between the left and right channels to change stereo width. |
| Invert Left | Reverses the polarity of the signal; the left-channel control affects only the left side. |
| Invert Right | Reverses the polarity of the right channel. |
| Swap | Exchanges the left and right audio channels. |
Work with this device
Start with a short passage that represents your material. Change one control at a time. Compare at a similar listening level, using the device's power control to bypass it. Save a version of the project before making a large change.
