Open foundations and original work
Dawnamite builds on open-source foundations with extensive original development and sound design. Its instrument work combines synthesis with openly licensed recordings, including public-domain material. Not every component, preset or recording is open source.
Scope
These records describe the sampled library in development, not available downloads. The table is generated from the shared source-provenance records and licence matrix. Admitted sound manifests supply conversion changes when included; there are no released sound manifests in this version.
The same data supplies the app's Sound Credits screen and bundled sound notices. Existing General MIDI, bundled sample and software acknowledgments remain in Licenses and acknowledgments. The complete software notice inventory remains a release requirement.
Original presets
The 25 factory synth presets were designed for Dawnamite without copying third-party presets or recordings. This credits preset design, not every underlying engine component.
Licence terms
CC0 recordings are identified as public-domain dedications. CC BY recordings retain attribution, licence links and changes information and are marked credit required. Follow the linked licence for its terms; this page does not invent additional obligations or exemptions for musicians' finished recordings.
